Flying Home

We got a call early on the morning we sere supposed to leave saying that our flight was being delayed and that we would miss our connection as a result, so they changed us to an EARLIER flight going through Atlanta instead. That meant we had to leave almost immediately to make in to the airport. We had left Hazel asleep downstairs while we got ready, so we literally went and got her and the rest of our stuff and got in the car. Good thing Huggies makes extra absorbent overnight diapers, because we didn't even have a chance to change her until we got to Atlanta because we barely made it onto the plane. Here she is (still in jammies) looking out the window.

...and making a cute face for the camera.

She was really good on the plane. On the long flight from Atlanta to Salt Lake she slept almost the entire time. It was SO helpful.

She loved all the mirrors in the Atlanta airport bathrooms. I loved the great big counters with a rimmed area specifically for changing munchkins. After we got her changed I was helping her stand on the counter so she could see the baby in the mirror, and she was bouncing up and down and laughing. It was really cute. A lady in the room commented that she made the airport a lot more enjoyable, and I agree.
